I am not sure about "out". Would it be better to say that they were removed?

    Om dichter bij jouw zinsconstructie te blijven kan je trouwens ook zeggen: "Ik heb mijn verstandskiezen laten trekken."

    In het Nederlands zeg je: "Mijn verstandskiezen zijn getrokken."
