is there a special order of adjectives in French (e.x. La robe grande bleau ... la robe bleau grande... la grande robe bleau..............)?

    Yes, a handful of qualities always go before the noun. (grand, petit, vieux, jeune, gentil, méchant, beau, etc) The rest goes after the noun.

    Blue is spelled "bleu" in the masculine form and "bleue" in the feminine form. So in your exampe, it would be "la grande robe bleue." And if you wanted to precise the shade of blue, you would put that after the word blue. "La belle grande robe bleue pâle"
