I have one question about an message that i have received from my colombian friend.

 

The story is that my friend she is Colombiana , We have made some appoinment to meet at 10 pm.

But i was likely to be late. so, i have called her to her phone , that im gonna late.

And she responded me that " Corre por tu vida"

But still i cannot understand what exactly she intended for.

    "Corre por tu vida" means "Run for your life". She did not mean it literally, but it can also mean for you to hurry, since you will be late ^^

    Its mean like a threat but joking in spanish we use that expression as a joke it depends on the situations of course but in your case its not literally
