바라 vs. 바래

묻고 싶은 게 있어요.

Shouldn't the word 바라다 (v. to hope) be conjugated to 바라 in present tense?
Why do I always hear people say 바래?

you are right. you have to say 바라 not 바래. 바래 is the present tense form of 바래다 which means "losing the original color". even many koreans say 바래 instead of 바라, thats gramatically wrong.
