    I guess you are asking why the adjective ends in く and not in い.
    If that is the question, the answer is the following:

    In Japanese (just as in English) adjectives can become adverbs.

    So the adjective.

    美しい (beautiful) becomes an adverb by removing the い and adding く, 美しく (beautifully).

    先生は美しいです the teacher is beautiful

    先生は美しく書きます the teacher writes beautifully.
