Still confused by possessive 의

Using 의 can confuse me at times. Are the following correct?

(I mean to say: Her first impression of him was vivid. - I picked 선명하다 because I'm learning it)

(I mean to say: She likes his restaurant review.)

What if I want to say: Her impression of his restaurant review is bad.

I want to say 그녀의 인상 and 그의 검토 and, of course, 나쁘다 but I just can't get them to fit right.

    3. Her impression of his restaurant review is bad. ---->

you had better think '의' as 'of'
Her first impression of him was vivid
----> the first impression of him to her was vivid

    She likes his restaurant review
----->she likes the review of the resuaruant of his.

Her impression of his restaurant review is bad.

if you still want to regard 의 as 'his, her etc'
a impression belongs to whom? a giving person or receiving person?
when a person acts bad, so many people think of the person as a bad guy, then, we, can think the bad guy is the owner of the impression( Korean thought style)

or, no matter he acts now, some people still he is a good man because they knew he acted good, even though they don't know his latest acts. then the impression belongs to the people.(Enlish thougt style)
