I think you may mean: サイモンさん、日本からの贈り物(お土産)をありがとうございました。(Simon, Vielen Dank für das Geschenk aus Japan)

@Brian, you gave a great answer! I wanted to write the difference between 贈り物(プレゼント) and お土産. 「日本からプレゼントを送ってくれてありがとう。」or 「日本のおみやげをありがとう。」
