Hi. What should I use Samstag or Sonnabend?? Or both of them are okay? Thank you.

    Either is fine, but Sonnabend is more dialectal (from the south), whereas Samstag is taught in the standard Hochdeutsch.

    Funny, I would say "Sonnabend" is more a Northern word. I may not be correct here, but I am from the South and always use Samstag. Besides, I would say that "Samstag" is by far the more frequently used form.
