As the next girl you leave gets smaller In your rear-view mirror.

What does in which mean?

An argument is a discussion in which people disagree, often angrily.

Does Lucky him mean he's lucky?

My brother's got an opportunity to work in Paris next year. Lucky him.

    As the next girl you leave gets smaller In your rear-view mirror.= As you drive away from her in your car. It is a metaphor for the fact that memories will fade - she will become smaller in your memory as you look back.

    'In which' refers back to the discussion.

    "Lucky him" = He's lucky and I'm a little envious.
    It can also be sarcastic.
    "I get to talk with the principal about my grades. Lucky me."
    Obviously, talking with the principal is not something this person thinks is very desirable.
