Word stress ...

Ich grüße euch!

I love the works of Hermann Hesse. I have read recently "Roßhalde" and "Siddhartha", and I would be thankful if any of you could clear up for me the stress in these words.

Hesse's imagination is full of a gentle soft sadness. I desire to learn German someday… It is a vigorous and noble language.

    "Roßhalde" is two words ("horse heap"), so it's ['ros'halde]. The first word ist a bit more stressed.

    "Siddartha": [si'darta].

    You can sometimes look up the stress in the Duden, especially for foreign and unusual words:
