Also, "I am learning the Connacht dialect".

    ...ach tá mé ag foghlaim Gaeilge.

    ...but I am studying Irish.
    ...ach tá mé ag staidéar Gaeilge.

    I am learning the Connacht dialect.
    Tá mé ag foghlaim an chanúint Chonnacht.

    -Side Note: It'd be best for you to fully learn the Standard Irish first before focusing on one dialect, otherwise you will have difficulties in understanding all the dialects.
