青少年素食更健康
一组研究人员发现,许多家长担心子女采用素食这种不健康的方式减肥,但这种减肥方式实际上是一种能获得维生素、矿物质,防止多脂肪的垃圾食品的好办法。研究人员对4500名平均年龄约15岁的青少年进行了调查,其中有近6%的人说自己是素食者。研究人员还同样发现,无论是否素食者,青少年们每日摄取的钙质并不足够,但素食者能获得更多的铁质、维生素A和纤维。

The Vegetarians Healthier Than Meat-eaters
What many parents believe to be an unhealthy way of losing weight,the vegetarian diet,is actually a good way to get vitamins and minerals and avoid fatty junk food,according to the findings of a term of researchers.They have investigated more than 4,500 teenagers with an average age of about 15,and nearly 6% claimed to vegetarians by themselves.The study also found that the calcium level was low in the diets of both vegetarians and meat-eaters,but the vegetarian diet provided substantially more iron,vitamin A and fiber.
