The first statement describes with possession by using the apostrophe ( ' ) and is more unique to an individual, the second describes by using an adjective, and is a general statement. Both are correct, but the general statement is more common.

The people were walking through the desert when they suddenly saw some bones. They studied them carefully and discovered that they were probably DINOSAUR bones. They did not look like HUMAN bones. Because there were only three bones, the people decided that the bones belonged to only one dinosaur. One of the people said, "The [that] DINORSAUR's bones are in very bad condition. Let's clean them carefully."
