How would you explain “take my word” in the context?

“Don’t you dare fucking investigate me. Don’t you dare treat me like some drugged-up squaddie. I am not a fucking case to be solved; you’re supposed to love me and you won’t take my word even on this…”

How would you explain “take my word” in the last sentence?
Thanks!

"Take my word" means "trust/believe in what I say/I'm saying".

And "drugged-up" means full of drugs, or high (on drugs).

Take my word means believe me just because I say so. Meaning, you take my word as the truth without questioning it.
