    Both forms are correct; usually we drop the 'o' and use (b)

    Here is the bad news Mr. Kleigh, which is also bad for us Italians:
    If tha number: 301.336 appeared in a scientific book (Physics, Chemistry, Math, etc.), it should follow the Scientific (international) notation, and therefore be read
    as :
    trecentouno-punto-trecentotrentasei
    where /trecentotrentasei/ would be the fraction below unity.
