Could you tell me the differences between "arrogant" and "vain"?

If possible, could you please give me an example of "boast" which is a verb different the above two words but contains the same meaning? Thanks a lot!

A person is arrogant, when their actions show you that they are not concerned with what you think.

A person is vain, when they are only concerned with their own image, or how people perceive them.

A person boasts when they tell others, impolitely, about the persons own achievements.
