what is "let´s cooling"?

I saw this phrase in a american movie and I don´t understood.

    The phrase uses deliberately terrible grammar as a joke. Without context, I think it means either "let's relax" (ie. let's chill out) or "let's escape the heat" (eg. if it's a hot day and they want a cold drink, or maybe they install an air conditioner).


    I agree with Peachey, they probably meant "let's chill out," which is slang for "let's relax" or maybe they meant staying cool. Chill and cool are both synonyms of the world cold. To let something cool means to let it get cold. If you bake cookies, you let them cool for a while before you eat them so you don't burn your mouth.
