"Take a leaf out of this guy's book."

To take a leaf out of somebody's book is an idiom. It means that you should learn how someone does something. Sometimes "page" is said instead of "leaf".

He says "take a leaf out of this guy's book".

Leaf means page in this context.

"take a leaf/page out of this guy's book" means "learn from this guy/do it like he's doing it"

So he's telling everyone to do it the way this guy is doing it.
