    A person who doesn't go out with his friend, always staying at home all the time and so on.
    In Japan, It's called “Otaku” オタク. It means nerd or geek in Japanese.
    However, Otaku refers to a fan who is obsessed with a specific topic or hobby for example manga, anime, densha(trains) and so on.

    Originally, Otaku おたく(お宅) meant house.

    a person without a regular job: 無職、プータロー、ニート
    a person who withdraws from society: 引きこもり
