Undecided questions
Do I understand the difference between 代价 and 价格 correctly?

My understanding is 价格 refers to the actual monetary cost of buying or doing something.

代价 refers not to money, but to the emotional or physical cost of doing something. For example, you might say the 代价 of doing something was the person had to give up their family, dreams etc.

Am I right?
