Veselé Vánoce. = Merry Christmas. Šťastný nový rok. = Happy new year. Přeji Ti/Vám veselé Vánoce a šťastný nový rok. = I wish you merry Christmas and a happy new year. Přeji Ti/Vám do nového roku hodně štěstí a zdraví. = I wish you a lot of hapiness and health for the new year. Příjemné prožití vánočních svátků přeje [your name]. = A pleasant time during the Christmas holidays is wished by [your name]. Šťastné a veselé! = (informal) Merry Christmas! "Ti" is used when you address a close friend, a relative or a very young person (a child). "Vám", on the other hand, is much more formal and it is also used when you address more people than one (it is the plural form of "you").
