    Hi Brucy:

    1. disparó las alarmas
(start to run a signal (alarm) that warns of an immediate danger).

→ This is said figuratively. Data warn of impending danger.

    2. delitos denunciados

→ As you said, it means crimes reported.

    Hope this helps, Brucy!

I dont know the English for "disparar las alarmas". If you go into a house with alarm, the alarm will start to make noise. That's the meaning, "disparar las alarmas" = Turn on the alarm.

"Delitos denunciados". -> When somebody has made a crime, you can go to the police and "denunciar" (and told the police that a crime has been made). Well, you report the police the crime, so I guess is what you've told "reported crimes"

    ...sounded the alarms.
Reported crimes, as other friends have said.
