How do Spanish speakers read foreign names? Particularily French?

How would a professional like a newscaster treat the pronunciation of foreign names and places in French? Is this different in the Americas and Europe?

I think, we as Spanish Speaker try to recognise some pronuntiations of known and popular French words so that we try to assimilate or compare the sounds and finally speak them... However, if there's no comparission, one speaks them with Spanish pronuntiation and trying to imitate kind of French pronuntiation.

It's at least what I heard and what I think...

    I'm sorry for my English.

Exaclty as Jorge Said..... that's what we do.
