When to start learning Kanji? And how did you get started with learning Kanji?

    As soon as you can read and write all Kana (Hiragana + Katakana), you can slowely start learning some Kanji.
    For example, instead of using "わたし", you learn to use "私" and instead of "じん" you can write "人".
    Basic Kanji lists are easy to find online.
    Since I've been fine with Kana, I always learn both the Hiragana and Kanji of new words.

    Side note: I saw on your profile that you put spaces inbetween words..
    Japanese don't do that, try to put everything together :]
