How would you explain the last sentence in the context?

The village wakes up in a hurry, whilst the sun seems to struggle with the job as Mother does. Last night was the party for Christmas Eve. Today she will sleep until noon, then wake up with one hand across her forehead, the frilled elbows of her dressing gown shuddering. Her voice like a Browning machine rifle sending the house girls running for her headache powders. And everyone else out of the house.

How would you explain the last sentence in the context? Does it mean the mother sent everyone else out of the house?
Thanks!

Yes, except it is in the future. She's still asleep, but when she gets up the sound of her voice will send the girls to look for the headache powders and will send everyone else out of the house (they won't want to listen to her, perhaps because she'll be in such a bad mood.).
