How to effectively learn two languages at the same time?

I am now trying to learn Spanish and Japanese at the same time.

However, I always get confused. I usually mix up the words and grammar structures.
I should be focusing on Japanese because I want to take the exams soon.
But I don't want to let go of my Spanish studies.

Any suggestions?

Thank you!

Both languages are very different from each other, so I'm surprised that you mix them up. And you also speak Tagalog, so you should have an easier access to Spanish. I think you should focus on Japanese first and study Spanish just a little bit.
