stroll - (very relaxed walking to somewhere)
    stroll in the park
    stroll along the beach

    wander - (without any purposes)
    wander the forest
    wander towards the town

    Strolling refers only to walking.

You could wander in a vehicle, but it would more commonly also be used for walking.
