As I remember its a sentence from a Turkish writer Sabahattin Eyüboğlu. (But I know it in this way: kitap zehir de olsa panzehiri yine kitaptır yalnız)
It means 'even if book is poison, its antidote is only itself'
(Hope its clear. Sorry for bad translation)
