Haló, a Sheáin/ Hello Shawn, aclaíocht is the word for exercise; traenáil means to work out (same idea) An mbíonn tú ag traenáil? / Do you work out?

"Rinne mé dreas traenála inniu" = "I worked out today" "Dreas" means "a turn, stint, spell, bout" and is a more idiomatic way to talk about something which keeps you occupied for a certain period of time. You can also say "rinne mé dreas aclaíochta" ("I worked out/did some exercise").
