I can't turn around and go for takeout from one of those flashing Chinese places in downtown. Note: "comida para llevar" = takeout (food)

Hi Erika. The sentence you wrote sounds strange in spanish too, but you can translate it like this: I can go around and get some take away food of those striking chinese restaurants in the city. The correct sentence in spanish would be: Puedo ir a dar una vuelta e ir a por comida para llevar de alguno de aquellos llamativos restaurantes del centro. I hope it is useful for you.

"dar vuelta" = to turn around e = y (an alternate form) "comida para llevar" = takeout (food) de = from alguno = one, any, etc. depending on the context aquellos = those llamativos = flashy lugares = places chinos = Chinese (plural cos u are saying places) en el centro = downtown
