Are both OK? Even though I can't make much money, I'm glad to be working here. (present) Even though I couldn't make much money, I was glad to be working there. (in the past)

These are grammatically correct, but a native speaker might choose the verb 'do' instead of 'can'. i.e. "Even though I don't make much money, I'm glad to be working here." and "Even though I didn't make much money, I was glad to be working there." :)
