How is байранд composed?
I saw a sentence in a textbook.
Би хоёрдугаар байранд орсон.
It seems that байранд came from байр.
Why байранд is used instead of байрт?

If you google, you'll find that "байранд" is used more than "байрт". Which shows that Mongolians themselves are quite confused about the right way of writing this. We didn't have this problem when we used our old vertical script.
Anyway, "байранд" is used more often.
