in + an amount of time = 在 + 一段时间 + 之后 we will be there in one week. 一星期之后我们就到那里了。 I want to learn to speak Chinese in one year. 我想在一年之后开始学习说中文。

we will be there in one week.我们一周后到。 I want to learn to speak Chinese in one year.我想用一年时间学说中文。 There is no need to translate "in" into Chinese directly. It just means 在…之后(after a period) or 在…之内(during a period).
