Is this Japanese sentence correct?
This one is the example sentence from a text:
彼はクラスで一番背が高い。
He's the tallest in the class.
I would translate this sentence like this:
彼はクラスでせ が一番高い.
Is this one correct or does it sound strange?
Thank you for your help!
Peter
Both are correct grammatically, however, the first one sounds more natural to me because "tall" means 背が高い in this case, like one word. I always use the first one.
I hope this was helpful.
