    'Non fa niente' means 'it doesn't matter', so the answer is quite weird.
    A typical answer would be: 'Va bene' which means 'okay'.
    But:
    A: Scusami, sono un po' in ritardo.
    B: Non fa niente.

    Nella forma idiomatica :
    /non fa niente/ = /non importa/
    /non fa piu` niente/ = /adesso non importa piu`/

    Ovviamente /non fa niente/ puo` avere un significato letterale, non idiomatico:
    Stiamo tutti lavorando sodo per pescare o preparare il pranzo, tranne Guglielmo che non fa niente, gli piace stare disteso a prendere il sole!
