Motive is a reason for doing something while an incentive something that motivates someone to do something(like a reward). Examples(His motive for running was to raise awareness for the victims of the storm. He looked for the lost dog for hours because he knew that there was a cash incentive.) They are quite similar. If you have any doubts with my answer, please ask.
