Don't be afraid. => N'aie pas peur. (Subjonctif Présent)
Then why: Don't leave. => Ne partez pas. ((Indicatif Présent)
but not => Ne partiez pas. (Subjonctif Présent) ?
Le verbe AVOIR est un verbe irrégulier, et son impératif est identique à son subjonctif présent:
Impératif : aie, ayons, ayez.
Subjonctif présent : que j'aie, que tu aies, qu'il ait, que nous ayons, que vous ayez, qu'ils aient.
