Autre chose I've just come across the phrase 'je voudrais voir autre chose'. Does the phrase 'autre chose' work in this way without an article, 'la' or 'une'? If so, does it work in the same way with sentences like 'je ne veux pas de cafe, je voudrais autre chose,' also without an article? Thanks!

Yes, you can often translate as simply 'something else'.

Yes, with an article, you change the meaning of it. "une autre chose" would be "one more thing" and "l'autre chose" (not "la" because of the vowel) would mean "the other thing".
