What is the difference between 記憶 and 思い出？
What is the difference between 記憶 and 思い出? To my understanding, they both mean memory or recollection. But, when do we use either? Is one more common then the other?

As far as I know, 記憶 means "memory" (if you have a good memory, you can remember things well), but 思い出 means "memories" (good memories, something good that happened in past).
