Daniel
How do you say "I've seen this movie before?" Is it, "wo yiqian kan dao zhe ge dianying" or, "wo yiqian kan guo zhe ge dianying" kan dao verses kan guo? wo bu zhi dao. Hmm.Also, odds are there is a special measure word for movies. What is it? Thanks!

the second " wo yi qian kan guo zhe ge dian ying " is right , for a movie , you can say " yi bu dian ying ( 一部电影) " that's ok

Hi Daniel. The second sentence is better, but it's more common to say "wo yiqian kan guo zhe bu dianying我以前看过这部电影". "bu部" is the measure word for movies. The difference between kandao看到 and kanguo看过 has been told by Susanwang.
