British punctuality Does it make sense for you the British to say that I like British punctuality or is it just a Spanish phrase because ee are uusually unpunctual? Thanks

I think the British are more impatient that punctual, so when a train is 5 or 10 minutes late, we will start complaining about it. I've even seen buses leave a few minutes early. :'( In Spain, everything feels a bit more relaxed, and people don't mind being a little late there. :-)

It seems to be just a Spanish expression, translated into English. Without knowing about the expression in Spanish, I'd wonder what you were implying. Is that a good or bad thing? In the English-speaking mind, we usually see the Germans as wonderfully punctual folk.

Hi Not sure what you're asking here... Is this a language question, or a cultural one: do you want to know if the British generally tend to turn up on time?
