what is the difference between "look"and "see"

Look - to look at something for a reason, with an intention. See -to ‘see’ something that comes into our sight that we weren't looking for.

'Look' is a conscious action. 'See' is a sense. It's exactly the same as 'listen' and 'hear'.

both sounds same as the mideum is our eyes to transform the verb look = to look at something for a reason, with an intention. look at that strange man. see = to ‘see’ something that comes into our sight that we weren’t looking for. did you see that man.
