please explain to me why we say this
please explain to me why we say this
I heard a lot of people said like this
my mother and I
my friend and I
......ect
why we don't say
I'm, like
my friend and I'm
Because I (singular) corresponds with am (singular).
I and "my friend" is a plural. For example, we would not write or say "We am."
but "We are."
"my mother and I" refers to a "we" (plural) [See Noun/Verb Agreement]
