Is this translation correct ? Why ? English translation of it appears as : "And he was not going to treat her like the other students even if it was a sin or crime under the law for which he would be made to appear before judge" How does it happen to be a negative sentence as "he was not going to treat her..." Is there something I am missing about the " ﻟﻭ" in the beginning ? Or else, what is it ? Any suggestions ? Thanks in advance

I would translate the sentence to English by saying :"If he allowed himself to treat her like other students it would have been a sin...etc"

I think, this is a better translation, but may be not the best; "If he allowed himself to treat her as the other students, that would be a sin or a crime for which he would be punished by law and complied before justice".
