Can someone please explain me the difference between, if possible with examles:
on the left side / on the left hand side

There isn't a great deal of difference, but perhaps a couple of examples would help.
My alarm clock is on the left-hand side of the bed.
My alarm clock is on the left side of my bed.
Both sound natural and common.

There isn't really a difference. When you are describing physical location you can use either.

There is no difference. Both mean the same thing and are used interchangeably. Both are correct.
