This is a phrase used by someone to stop a person from speaking to him/her in "black slang" or "ghetto". This is very common in New York especially in Brooklyn and the Bronx. Nicole talking black: Yo bruh, ain't nobody got time for that. Don't ya know you're part of my crew? So don't act like you and I got beef son.

Woah, chill friend. It's only a sentence. This may explain it better: http://plans.tumblr.com/post/3802933157/from-abcs-modern-family-dont-talk-black-to So, it should be as Bruce explained, but it's been wrongly said and is now a running joke.

Daniel, the common expression is this: "Don't talk back to me!" It refers generally to a situation in which a parent or adult is criticizing something a child or youth has done, and the youth or child shows disrespectful attitude by their speech. If, for example, an adult says to the child; "Behave!" or "Act right!" and the child says; "No!" That is an example of the child talking "back". .
