Titles ending in "e", "il", "a" and "iz" do not change according to gender, they only change in number. Él es cantante - Ellos son cantantes. Ella es cantante - Ellas son cantantes. Él es estudiante - Ellos son estudiantes. Ella es estudiante - Ellas son estudiantes. Él es albañil - Ellos son albañiles. Ella es albañil - Ellas son albañiles. Él es artista - Ellos son artistas. Ella es artista - Ellas son artistas. Él es aprendiz - Ellos son aprendices. Ella es aprendiz - Ellas son aprendices. (In Spanish "z" may never be before "e" or "i", so if a declension requires "ze" or "zi" these change to "ce" and "ci") I hope this helps you.

Yes! There are some nouns that can be both masculine or feminine without changing its form. "Hablante" is one of those examples. Although the noun itself stays the same, its adjectives and articles do change depending on the gender.
