Can you hear accent in this song? Hi everyone! I 'd like to ask you for a little help with the recording of a song. The singer is not a native English speaker. Can you hear her accent? Would you let your kid listen to this song? Any feedback is appreciated. https://soundcloud.com/user715975996/humpty-dumpty Thanks!

It's really good, and has a natural tone. :) The only part that sounds strange is the word "horses". The R sounds very Russian. English Rs are much lighter - some even seem to "disappear". Have a listen to this British pronunciation: http://howjsay.com/index.php?word=horses You can use www.ivona.com to get an idea with a female British accent - use "Emma".

Hello It sounds very clear to me and would be happy for my child to listen to it, if they were still young. :)

It's fine. There is a very slight trace of an accent, what I would even call a "charming accent," but it is barely detectable. My children have been taught by elementary school teachers with stronger accents than this, and it was of no concern. In the United States we are used to hearing varieties of regional accents and traces of foreign accents (because of ethnic enclaves). I can't identify the accent. It sounds European to me, and not Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German, or Dutch. Not Chinese, not Indian. Peachey suggested "Russian," I was thinking perhaps Swedish or Danish.
