Examples of **every now and then** Please, could you give some examples of the using of "every now and then"? I just heard someone using this expression but I couldn't understand it perfectly.

It means "occasionally" or "every so often", "sometimes". Ex: I'm not a big drinker, but I enjoy a glass of wine every now and then. Every now and then, I like to take a day off work and just relax with a nice book and some classical music. Hope that helps. :)

Every now and then is an expression that means once in awhile or occasionally. It is something that happens sometimes or occasionally, as Sandrah said. "I get to see my old friend every now and then."
