what is the verb in this sentence, "condemn"? "The Myth of Sisyphus," in turn, considers the punishment meted out to the mythical king of Corinth, condemned to spend eternity pushing a boulder up a mountainside, only to watch it roll back down. can someone analyze the structure of this sentence for me? "the king is condemned to spend.." or the Myth of Sisyphus condemn... the link:( third paragraph) http://articles.latimes.com/2013/nov/07/opinion/la-oe-zaretsky-camus-centennial-20131107

It's the king who is condemned. The myth 'considers' the king's punishment.
